Customer IDs
Customer IDs…and what is that number on the Trip Summary Screen?
Every Contact Profile in Livery Coach has a unique “serial number”, called the Contact ID, which is used so the system can keep track of the profiles without getting them mixed up. Generally you don’t need to know what a particular contact’s Customer ID is, but if you care, you can see it when look up a profile.

When you are building a trip and get to the passenger section, you can select a profile for the passenger, or just manually enter the passenger name (with no profile). In the passenger selection screen, it is easy to see if the name was picked from a list or manually typed, because if it was picked from the list, you will see the profile number there also.
If the passenger name was manually typed, then the profile number will be 0.
When you look at the summary screen of the trip, the profile number will appear next to the passenger name (if there is no profile for a passenger, then there will be no number).
Some people find the number after the name in the summary screen distracting. This can be turned off in Maintenance, but navigating to System Default Config…Default 2, and unchecking the box that says “Show Passenger ID”.
Once you log out and back in, the number will no longer show in the summary screen.
