Affiliate Portal
While many of you have equipped your chauffeurs with mobile devices and our iChauffeur app, what happens when you have to farm a trip out? And, what if that affiliate does jobs for more than one Livery Coach client?
What the Affiliate Portal does is bring the power of the iChauffeur app to your non-Livery Coach affiliates.
The app, which is available in the app stores, will allow the affiliate chauffeur to log in and see his assigned trips. The status and GPS location will then be fed back to you through the network, so that even if you farm a trip out, your customers can have the same experience as when your own chauffeurs are doing the job.
As part of the process, we have created a new portal, https://affiliateportal.liverycoach.com, independent of any single Livery Coach client. Non-Livery Coach clients can register at this portal and receive a unique UserID for their company, which allows them to receive Livery Coach trips on the portal via a process similar to Livery to Livery.
There is no setup or “module fee” to start sending trips through the Livery Coach Affiliate Portal, nor is there any fee for affiliates to register. However, there are some requirements:
There is a cost per trip to send trips through the system, primarily to cover Google Maps licensing costs. The pricing per trip is tiered, so as you send more trips in a given month, it gets cheaper. This count will reset each month.
Pricing is as follows:
First 100 trips in a month: $1.00/trip
Next 150 trips in a month (e.g. from 101 to 250): $0.90/trip
Next 250 trips in a month (from 251-500): $0.75/trip
Anything over 500: $0.60/trip
So, as an example, if you send 125 trips in a calendar month, you would pay (100 x $1) + (25 x $0.90) = $122.50
The fees will be paid in advance via credit card or check, and each trip will draw down on the balance. We are still setting up the customer portal where you can fund your account and monitor your activity.
From now until the end of 2015, all trips will be FREE. That’s right—we will be absorbing the Google Maps license and other costs as this gets rolled out. This will give us time to get the customer portal set up and for the accounts to be funded without delaying the rollout.
